Green Mtn. United Way Thanks VSECU Employees for Donation
The Green Mountain United Way — represented by Nancy Zorn, Executive Director — recently thanked the staff of
the Vermont State Employees Credit Union for their contributions to the United Way.
VSECU employee donations to the Green Mountain United Way will total $6,916 this year!
Employees who make regular donations to the United Way, or who donated to a charity of their choice through the United Way,
are entitled to participate in Casual Day on Fridays. Through their 2005 Casual Day donations, VSECU employees will have raised
nearly $7,000.
Zorn, in a Sept. 21 presentation before all VSECU staff, highlighted Green Mountain United Way's efforts at making an
impact on Central Vermont communities by supporting local health, human services, and job skills training programs.
In turn, the Green Mountain United Way relies on the support of businesses and individuals, whether it be financial,
through in-kind donations, or from those offering volunteer assistance.
The Green Mountain United Way serves Washington, Orange, Caledonia, Essex and Orleans counties.
